You have to get to the 4th level for the lancer i beleve.
And you get 5 slots for cars though you have to win the slots open by geting sponsers to buy you cars.
I can't beleve they would put in Hummers and Escalades in a race game. I just dont see the pont.

yea me eather. the hummer blows.. but is faster then the rest of them... but its fun to do the SUV races. even tho your only in 1st and secound gear the hole time.

edit: yea i got the lancer and skyline now.. lol both almost suped up. the lancer owns in drifting. so far i havn;t found the skyline good in anything. my 240SX seems to be the best in alot of things.

I liked the first one much better, to be honest.

And yeah..it is kinda ricey, but at least in the first game you weren't forced to rice out your car to progress through the game. I don't like how the drift competitions are circuit style with other cars starting at the same time, the streetX races are ------- stupid, and having to drive all over for different kinds of mods I found to be a pain in the ***.

I prefer the no nonsense approach of the first title.

Also, they added SUV's to the sequel. GAY!!!! Too bad. Could've been better if the developers actually knew ---- about the tuning culture, instead of trying to emulate fast and the furious. And clearly they don't know dick. The Si in the first game redlined at 7k.
