need some new tools, whats a good affordable brand for socket sets
after busting my nickels yesterday and breaking an autozone $2 socket its finally time to buy some new ------- tools. I dont work on cars 24 7 but this replacing sockets every other month ---- is getting old. What do you guys use. im leaning towards just getting some craftsman metric sockets from egay, any other affordable brands out there i'm on a budget and dont want to spend more than i have to

Craftsman is great. If you break most of their hand tools they will replace them no questions asked. I broke a 1/2" drive ratchet a while back and handed it to them, they just pulled another one out of the drawer and gave it to me

i bought a husky ~150peice mechanics set and got my random socket sets (12pt and deep, 6pt 32mm) craftsman. def like the craftsman ratchets better operating wise, comfort goes to husky(snap-on style handles)

I think great neck is about with craftsman as far as price. Just buy the craftsman. If you ever break a normal hand tool, not counting torque wrenches and other calibrated tools, you'll get a replacement.
