i put my office comp together for less then $600 with 3.35ghz, 1GB RAM, 18" flat screen, lightscribe dvd burner, dvd player, 256mb sapphire vid card, speakers with sub, logitec wireless keyboard and mouse, new case and 400watt power supply. works great so far, haven't tried to overclock it yet or anything. just need to get a new HD because i am using a spare i had laying around that is really small.

DVI's are good, the trick is to USE A DVI CABLE!
the vga cable makes it look like poop.
digital > analog > cable > analog > digital > display. too many conversions
when a dvi cable is used its not converted at all.

eh, i bult the same computer for my friend a month ago. didint really copy anyone. id rather have shitty memory than cheep out on the motherbord, you can always go get some diffrent memory and throw it in. and ATI sucks. Wait, how did i copy yours at all? I didn't use any of the same ---- but the case? and processor

basically any of these builds would be great cept rawrs mem is crap and the 7900gt is iffy at the moment alot of places have not got in the new version yet. I have a evga superclocked 7900gt sitting right here on my desk i need to rma. I ended up shoving a x1800xt 512 in the pc to replace the 7900gt and the image quality is far superior and it actually runs most of the games i play better than the 7900gt did when it worked fine. But any of these computers have triple the performance and quality of that buypower crap.

whoa wait a sec there... the 7900gt is NOT CRAP, eVGA has completely admitted they're problems with a batch of the cards and are fixing all of it. memory is memory unless you want 1fps for a $100 premium.
and ya the ATi x1800xt 512 is a better card, if you can find one. they have all gone WAY up in price since the x1900gt replaces it in theory.

Not one bad batch alot of bad batches ive had to rma 3 already 2 from evga and 1 from xfx and now this one from evga that i bought after talking to evga and them saying they had been shipping the the revised 7900gt ... apparently I got another of the old batch. I gave up and got the x1800xt 512 couldnt be happier blows the 7900gt out of the water in image quality and lets me use full aa and af with hdr. Nvidia dropped the ball on all of the 7 series cards lets hope the new ones all perform like they should
