with all that stuff listed that is a horrible ------- pos compute. The power supply is crap the graphics card is a pos the case is one of the cheapest out the ram is slow i could go on and on...... gimme a budget and ill build you a bad ----------er. If your budget is 1200 you could build a awesome computer that will last you forever. And I wont shop anywhere but newegg.com some of there prices are the cheapest some arent but there customer service is simply amazing and there ---- ships the same day as you order usually and always arrives earlier than it should. If you want i can put a list of links up for ya on what i would build on a 1200 dollar budget.

AMD FTW.

Your motherboard will come with the cables that you need for the most part.

I haven't checked prices in a while but you could probably build an SLI machine for what you are planning to spend.

Here's what I would recommend
Processor: AMD
Motherboard: ASUS, SOYO, ABT, MSI All make graet boards. Research and decide what features you want.
Hard Drive: SATA all the way. At least for your OS and most frequently accessed programs. I'm a Seagate fan. All the major brands are good.
Optical Drive: Dual layer DVD burners are so cheap now that there is no reason not to get one when you build a computer. They're pretty much all the same but I tend to stick with Sony.
Video Card: I am sure someone will correct me, but try to match the chipset on the video card to the MB chipset. VIA=VIA NVidia=NVida Lots of peop;e ;ove the ATI cards.
Sound Card: I'd only get this if you are serious about soun quality and/or into sound editing. M-Audio makes excellent quality cards.
Memory: Man unless you do alot of intense gaming or this is going to be a server there is no reason to have 2 gigs worth. Get the best quality you can afford. The MB manufacturer will have a list of memory that has been tested and works well.

www.zipzoomfly.com Awesome prices and free shipping.
www.tigerdirect.com The old standby.
www.frozencpu.com For your ricer case mods and liquid cooling needs.

unless you wanna spend 329 bucks or more crts cant be beat. But for bout 329 you can get a 20 inch widescreen that blows crts out of the water[as long as you can get one with no dead pixels] and the colors are much more vibrant and a large crt takes up alot of deskspace.

most stuff comes with cables and i believe mobo come with cables. be careful when you buy from tigerdirect because they sell alot of refurbished stuff (it should say refurbished)

everything is pretty much plug and play just a few stuff to worry about, the mobo should have the manual on everything
