I have never been a toyota fan. I should drive one before i make my decision but in the past i have not been impressed. My girlfriends corolla goes through about a quart of oil a month and its only got like 140k on it. I made the mistake of test driving a TDI and letting the salesman get my phone number. He has been calling every day to try to sell me a TDI that is a few years old and has 76k on it for $21,000. You can buy a brand new TDI for $23,000. The more i look at new cars the more i like my civic.

Corolla = cheap valueless car that no one cares about so it never gets serviced. Of course it burns oil.

Why not test drive a new si. If I didnt have my tundra to drive everyday I would love to rep a new si. I test drove one awhile back and felt for the cost it cant be beat.
