supernewb needs to stfu.
There is no such thing as a "nice" Evo MR, talk about a gearbox weaker than a DSM. Also, R34 can not be made legal in the US: Motorex only did the DOT crash testing on the fugly R33. Yes, you can get a title from some dumbass uneducated doesn't care DMV employee in a state with lax titling laws, but if any cop sees the car on American roadways and wants to make beef your R34 is *gone*.
Also, new Slobalt looks good on paper but it's a GM you ------- idiot. Going through major driveline pieces on a Z06 is cute given how those cars perform and what you get for a dollar, but the Slobalt is engineered to the same if not a lesser standard and will come apart frequently.

Re: Need ideas for a new daily driver.
I am looking for something "newer" that won't necessarily impress anyone but will nice and reliable. I doubt i will be modifying the car at all. It would be nice to have a warranty too. Since i won't be modifying it i would be fine with someone else fixing it when it breaks. I am looking for a fun, safe, reliable daily driver with an emphasis on fun...but this won't be my only car though so it doesn't need to be that fast. Maybe more of a bias towards luxury rather than speed. Time to start test driving these.

S4 do not impress. My crx is faster with hmt on it.
