make it so you can keep the car running all day and when someone gets in it and tries to take off it locks the doors and the alarm goes on that would be some scary ----.

Yes, its gonna be a bait car. 
I want them to try and steal it, just not get away with it. That would be All bad... lol
There are a bunch of good ideas but some are gonna cost me $$$ (turbo timer, and remote device) and if its more than a few bucks then screw that.
Im not spending my cash if its not my car (and im not gonna get $$ from "The Man").
I cant ---- with the car too much because Im not supposed to be screwing with it (dont tell). Its just that we want it to do what I mentioned and it doesnt right now (and it never will unless I do it).

Put a nail or two infront and behind each tire.
Only you will know they're there unless the thief checks. If you want to move the car, you pick up the nails.
Cheap? Go grab some steelies from the junkyard with garbage tires.

Turbo Timer with custom time sets that (like mentioned) is connected to the ebrake. i didn't even chop my starter wires, just used some male connectors and stuffed em into the lil holes where the wires go into the plug. i love how people look at my funny when i walk away and hit the alarm with the car running 
Remote Start. im hoping to get one of these. its easiest to just get one thats in an alarm system. just go buy one and install it yourself. only took me 2 days of autoshop (about 2-3 hrs) to get'r done.

Disconnect the shift linkage, who the ---- would check that...
Only other idea I thought of real quick would be get a shitty RC car and use one of the servo's to push a button from a remote place. You watch them get it, push a button on the controller and it flips a kill switch

Awesome Ideas! I would deffinately look into the fuel pump kill, most likely your cheapest and simplest option. This may be a stupid question.... but why are you making a bait car again
