turbos arent really fuel efficient, neither are superchargers, but they are good for making big power. Diesels are way more efficient if they are turbo, but its a whole nother ball game.

P My gas guage does some goofy stuff now too. It'll be like full tank, get on it a little down to 3/4 then slowly after a little time creep to full again. My Dad saw it and was like "WHOA! Pull over, we're losing gas!" LOL.



Damn that just cracked me up, remind me of something my dad did. sorry for threadjacking but im sure you can get a laugh out of it. Anyways so he calls me one day when and hes like, "I thought Hondas were good cars, Damn CRV tranny is slipping, its not driving right" So i said, "Well let me check it out, i doubt a car with 30k miles will have a messed up tranny" Keep in mind its an automatic. He says " No, ill just take it to the dealer, its under warranty and its messed up for sure." so i say "ok" Well a few hours later hes calling me to give me the analysis he got from the dealership who was done with the car in no time. "Hey son, i just got the car back, runs good now" Then i say "What was wrong with it?" He says "uhh, let me look at the paper here....

Honda Dealership paper reads:
Problem: Customer complains transmission is slipping
Diagnosis: Floor mat stuck under Gas pedal

Owned...
Seeing on paper was twice as funny.

hybrid cars are not battery cars or hydrogen cars. hybrids use power stored during braking to accelerate the car so that less gas is used. hydrogen cars are ------- retarded at this point because of the cost of fuel cells and the way we produce hydrogen at this point. sure hydrogen cars have no emissions out of the car, but here in the us the way we make the electricity needed to produce the hydrogen is by burning coal so you're just ------- up the atmosphere at the power generation station instead of out the tailpipe.
