Need Help on a paper (school related)
ok guys i didn't know exactly where to ask this so i'm gonna ask here since i'm here on most of my free time. I have a paper that i have to do for my Psychology class, the minimum requirement is 10 pages and no more than 15. Now, i'm no writer but for some reason i usually come up with good papers when they are finished, but i've NEVER had to write a paper this long before. The longest paper i've had to write was i believe 7 pages a couple years ago for my 11th grade research project, and i struggled getting that much done. I believe i'm gonna go with a topic something to the tune of 'Statistics of Return Felons & Why?'. i'm not necessarily asking for any help on material 'in' the paper but i'd rather like some info on what my paper should have in it, like what kind of info that could make it 10 pgs long
I know some people in here are in college and some are already out but if you had to write a paper this long before could you give me some ideas on what you put in it to make it that long I hope i can get some help while i look up info on the net. Tia
BTW i'm doing this topic because i can also use it/refer to it for my Criminal Justice class.

Ok add in any personal experiance you have had. Family friends use BIG words instead of isn't use is not. Takes up more space. Also Paragraph spacing make sure it is correct. Anyword that you feel MOST people would not know the meaning of (put a brief meaning of it) like that. Hope that helps some also Use Like MS office and suck MSWORD whatever it is lol. I have it i just have it in my business software Office 2000 i think.

IM not the smartest when it comes to papers but I know how much it sucks to write papers. If your doin a paper on return felons talk about what someone who commits a crime more then once thinks in his/her head. Talk about the stats for example, what race, sex,and age are the people who do it most often. ummmmmmmmmm, basically try to bullshit 10 pgs of what goes through someones mind that commits more than one crime. talk about maybe thier childhood if they come from broken homes or good homes, their beliefs, religions, their environment. I dont know just try to research that kinda ---- but just strech it out to be 10 pgs. Good luck hope I helped

Relations Between People
Most people believe that their relationship is not like others. They don't have problems. These kinds of people also think that their partner won't cheat on them or do anything wrong. But the truth is that almost all relationships won't last forever. A few reasons relationships fall apart are one partner cheats, they lose interest in each other, lack of communication which causes problems, if you try to change someone and it backfires, and if you hide something you should have told the other person and then they find out about it later. In a relationship you can tell when you're losing interest in each other. Some signs are that you don't talk much with each other, you don't spend time together anymore instead it's spent with your friends away from home. Some signs to tell if the other person in the relationship is cheating is by the person starts to come home from work later than they usually do, they start to smell like perfume that neither of you have, when you confront them about cheating and they get all nervous and deny it, when you ask them why they've been coming home late from work lately and they makeup stupid excuses. Sometimes they say they are going somewhere but when you phone to see if they are there they aren't. If you're in a relationship and the person does any of these things, your relationship could be falling apart. In this kind of abusive relationship, you should know it is time to leave. The reason you should leave an abusive relationship is because if you don't, you could end up hurting yourself. Most of the time when a person is in this kind of a position, they are too scared to leave it. Because they think the one who is abusing will hurt them more. In some cases they could. Therefore, it is important to leave. Another thing about people who are in this position is that if you suspect they are being abused and you confront them about it, they will deny it and change the subject. A few other signs of someone being abused is if they always have bruises all over their body and you ask them what happened, it takes them a while to answer and finally when they do answer its something like I accidentally fell down the stairs or I walked into something. These kinds of people should get help fast, like going to the police before something serious happens and they get hurt really bad and end up in the hospital. People define a soul mate as someone who likes the same things as they do, they get along with each other perfectly, and they know everything about each other. A few other definitions of a soul mate are that they feel complete when they are with each other and both of them believe it's true love. Some people never marry only date because they believe that someday the right person will come along and may just happen to be their soul mate. Many others don't believe in soul mates because they think it's impossible to find someone that likes exactly what they do and gets along fine no matter what. Sometimes people do find their soul mates and sometimes people spend their whole lives looking for theirs. As you can see, I think that relationships aren't impossible but it is hard to find a good one where both of you get along fine and there aren't many problems. Alight 10 pages really is not all that bad, it seems like it would be but its not.
I'd imagine like most teachers this is double spaced so its really not so bad. I write about 3 of these each semester for term projects. Just like anything drag it out a bit. I'm not sure what your teacher's requirements are but do the typical format intro/body/conclusion.
If you at least mention most of everything your going to talk about in the intro then expand on it in the body pages will add up quick. Use longer words when possible and just let it flow.... Put things in your own words opposed to trying to paraphrase very closely to what your reference material is. You can make descriptions very wordy trust me. Like stated above put in personal experiences that would back up the information your talking about. Again stories can be made as lengthy and wordy as you want.
Just be careful to stay on topic though, thats something I have been downgraded on before. If your really close to your ten pages but not quite there you can play with margins and fonts. I'm sure the teacher requires 12 font size or at leats says what she wants. Regardless if the font size is the same if you use different fonts you can change the length of the paper. I'd suggest Courier New.

My style.
Step one, pick a worthless topic that the net has a ton of resources for.
Step two, write the paper learning about the topic as you go, (ie. write it, read it, and learn what you wrote
)
Step three, turn it in and tell yourself, "I know I did a shitty job, but it a year, I won't remember it anyway."
Step four, to increase length and for help with motivation along the way:
Start out with 10 point font, zoom in on the page,single space,close the spacing between letter to make it tight, type in Times New Roman, and ------ the margins out further.
When you look at the overall length, and it feels short and that discourages you, increase one of the above attributes. (ie. bring font to 12, do the double spacing and switch to Bookmand Old Style last)
That way you are like, man, I only had 2 pages, now I have 2.5, and if you feel really down, you tighten the margins to spec too, and now you have 3 pages. Wait I just gotta see how long this really is! Increase letter spacing, double space, and switch to Bookman, and all of a sudden bam... between 7-8 pages, and only 2 to go. That's like bringing it from a 10 page paper, to 4. You'll have trouble keeping it under 15
