buying a new compuer would be pretty cheep, tell me what you want it to do and i can peice together a system that would do everything you wanted for a damn good price.

Hijack this is a program that tells all of the software thats running, all of the software thats hidden to run in your registry and all of the software thats linked to BHO objects so I can see whats wrong with the computer.

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/p...php#hijackthis

download, run it, copy and paste the log file.

I would highly suggest getting rid of anything Symantec. I hate it and haven't ran across too many computers that haven't been fucked after their licence expires or they stop paying for it. It buries itself pretty deep and usually needs a tool to uninstallit all the way. I mean ---- there is like 6 different things from symatec running on that ----. just my opinion though. I think I have that extractor somewhere.....

Old computers work fine if you aren't gaming, video editing, or doing CAD.

New computers are nice, and not too expensive, depending on whether you buy from a boutique or go rawr-express.

You've got plenty of options.

I picked up a 3.06Ghz P4, 768Mb DDR400, 200Gb Seagate drive, and 256Mb 8X AGP Radeon X850 vid card with DVD-RW for $200 off a friend; hook up keyboard/monitor/trackball and boot. The video card alone sells new for $150-240 depending on exactly who is packaging the chipset. High end gamer geeks usually annoy me - think the 42 psi stock K20 video HT crowd meets the gamer world - but they let perfectly good ---- go for pennies to fund their next stupid build, just because the equipment is a year old. Think of the sort of people ichbinsobose slaps around like they are bitches. I suggest you talk to some late teen to 20-something ***** geeks and see what you can't drum up. It's the HMT way to go...
