Default my welder just paid for itself!(picts)

Well I wanted a trailer couse I just bought a quad and I'll be picking one up for my son here shortly.Well trailers are pretty expensive.I allready have a 16 foot enclosed trailer but that mother ****** is huge and Ill probably be selling it here shortly.

Well loong story short both my son and my quad wont fit on my Dodge so I made this tariler for $350.Tractor Suply wanted $650 for a 4x8.I made mine a 4x10. .

Here are the picts.Hope you like

And here it is all done and ready for some 3/4" plywood.I also have to put on the tail lights but its pretty much ready to go.Ill be regestering it tomorrow.Still need to go get some black rustoleum paint and give it a nice bath in black paint. It took me about 4 hours to make it........I just found a new hobby

Soon as clean out my garage, I think I will buy a welder so I can clutter it up again.

Are you going to use marine plywood for the deck of the trailer ?

Thanks guys.

No Im not going to use marine plywood.Just good old cheap 3/4" from Home chepot.Im just going to spray it with some Thompsons seal that I have in my garage.

As far as the supplys, the steel came from Titan steel. They are local. It was $64 for all the steel. Its 2"x2"x1/4" "L" caannel.
The axle, wheels, leaf springs and other crap I got at Tractor Supply.I dont know if they have those every where but they have them all over here in Texas.

And Murdoc, that just goes to show why at 29 Im such a ------- pimp. There is nothing that I cant do if I put my mind to it

Did you follow any type of design or did you just wing it? Ive seen a trailor break off a jeep and run into a cement gaurdrail and get fucked. Guy was lucky it didnt hit anything else. Dunno doesnt look really solid to me?

Its a basic trailer design.I copied what has been done by trailer manufacturers for years. The metal I used is thicker than the 3/16" ---- that they use.So no I didnt wing it.I didn my research before I jumped into it.Oh and its verry solid
