Since her insurance is the one that has to pay damages, you should get more money back than if yours were to pay, ie hers should pay for damage to the IC etc. That equipment may not have been insured under your company but that really shouldn't matter because her insurance is handling it... so that's a plus.

----...Just talked to the records office at the sheriffs dept, and the woman said that off the record it didn't look like the officer was going to cite anyone. am i fucked if they don't cite anyone?

you have from the time the insurance company looks at it until the time the tow truck picks the car up to take off ANYTHING you want, the truck driver doesnt give a ---- what's on there or not and by then you're check is already in the mail, rip out the motor, tranny, inerior, EVERYTHING!! Once the insurance company looks at it, its fair game. I got a zc out of one of my friends integra's when we were in hs after the insurance company looked at it.

I got hit before and the lady told the cop, my parents, and I she didn't see me when she came over. Cop put on the report and the womens statement she wrote said the same thing. After screwing with her insurance for about two months they were lik "She is caliming you hit her sorry, but we have to deny your claim". I kept putting it off after that, but finally filed a suit against her two months before the statute ran out.
Went in, of course she lied her as off. Showed the judge the report. My estimate which was almost 3k, he insurance estimate which was $1200. Asked what I could sell it for in it's current condition. Said maybe $1200 (had aftermarket parts) and he granted the rest $1800.
Long story short just sue her *** if they deny and get some good estimates. Her insurance will want to use serta fit crap on there.
