Damn, you're a motivated mo fo. I didn't expect you to just go do it. Nice work. By the looks of it you'll have that thing running in no time. What other obsticles are in the way?

I can be motivated at times. I spent the weekend with my girlfriend so I didn't accomplish anything more yet. I didn't move it just because you said so. I looked at my options, it was really the only one so I figured I just better do it.

I still have some things to overcome though. I still need to make a couple more brackets which wont be hard, no more welding them anyways. The Hardest problem will be the kick starter. On a dirt bike you kick backwards, on a quad all the kickstarts are rigged to kick forward. I'm going to have to move the rod forward and bend it out so I can get a full kick without hitting the frame or plastic fender.

Actually the hardest problem will be the exhaust. I have to make the stock expansion chamber work on there somehow, I'll be cutting and welding it in where i can. It'll get done.

I have some other work to do but nothing much. I have to get the chain setup which wont be hard. I need to make a kill switch, run all of my cables (i'm converting to a twist throttle which I took off the bike). Lets see what else... Thats really about it, besides running some new fuel lines and such.

I broke this little plastic piece on the motor that had a rubber line attacted to it. I need to find a new one of those Wish I had not broken that but I did it while I was cleanin the darn thing.

Lol, I know you didn't move it just because I mentioned it. :P

Looks good so far. That kick starter is going to be any ugly mo fo. The exhaust might be tricky. It should tuck pretty close to the frame thoguh, right? Is it hitting ---- or will it hit ---- if you tried to mount it stock?

Keep up the good work.

Yeah I know the starter wont be pretty. I'll probalby at lesat paint it or make it look better somehow. I'm more about effectiveness rather than how it looks.

When I'm done the exhaust will hang close to the frame. Currently the stock on has the bends in it for the motorcycle frame, which obviously dont match what I need. If I mounted it stock it would interfere with the plastic pieces...I'll try to take some pics later to show it.

I'm really excited to get this thing running.... its definitely going to be faster than it used to be by far.

Hey do you have this thing running yet? I use to own a 250X, 300Ex, and a Warrior (not all at the sametime) Haven't had a quad for awhile now though. But I must saw the most amazing one I ever rode was the Banshee, it was insane and I loved it, don't think I could ever go back to another four stroke after riding that. Still hope to pick a Banshee may be after the car is paid off.

Wow,

talk about back from the dead... Anyways no its not done yet, I honestly havent done much work.

As you can see the coil on top of the jug in one of th pics is pretty ragged. I'm having a problem gettin spark. I had it then i soldered the wire back together and then i lost it..... anyways that kinda sucks.

Once I have spark though it should be running, I'm hoping to work on it a lil this weekend between other projects. When I'm done and riding it in the spring I'll have some nice sand dune pics.

I'm hoping for it to be able to eat banshee's...its over 400cc and fairly built.
