Yea, your were the one I expected it from too Ya know, had it been a DOHC KA I might have went that direction, but I don't think I will be dissappointed.
guess u didn't see the other guy's ka-t on our site? he had a sohc ka-t with more hp then slows13 =x only thing i like bout the sr is since it "came" turbo it feels more reliable mentally. to make a good reliable ka-t with all the proper ---- to last ends up costin bout the same/more. so its all on preference.

Trust me, I know that there are people running both variations of the KA in turbo form, but you said it yourself, the reliability is not there in stock form, at least not when you get into the higher HP range. I have seen some serious power numbers from all three motors. The SR is what I decided to go with.

when reliability steps in, this is "one" of the reason's why i didn't wanna turbo my KA

http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6028

another is my KA blew up when it was NA. n going on ka-t.org, all i see is thread after thread of 'why did i bow another ka'... SR's are expensive but so is replacing ka's every month/months.

Yea, I am not going to waste a whole lot of time argueing with others about which direction I should head with my car, what motor I should buy, etc.. When it is their money and their car, they can do with it what they please. Your always going to find somebody that doesn't like something or would have went a different route. I just figure I will share a little of my project every now and then, people can comment as they wish. There is no one RIGHT way to build a car.

I am gonna hold onto it, see if I can find a coupe that I can drop it into, or if the right buyer comes along, I would sell it. I have some pretty decent money tied up in it, so I am not going to give it away for next to nothing.

Thanks dude, the car never had a factory spoiler on it and I don't really like the factory one because it is that spongy *** pos. I like the car with no spoiler or as I have said a few times, I might get a wangan style one. It would most likely cover the holes from mounting the APR one and if I get it in CF, I will not have to have it painted. Yea, that is my biggest concern right now anyway, get the SR in there. :P
