When I picked it up, I drained 7-8 quarts of milky foamy fluid from the oil pan. I filled it with new oil, topped off the rad. and it ran like a kenyan.

No frame rust on this truck whatsoever. Farm trucks in Rural ND FTMFW.

its structural rust.. its worth worrying about

does it still have that milky oil? timing chain ate the guide, chain chews into waterpump on timing cover. antifreeze gets pumped into oil pan, oil pan hydrogenates it into a milky slurry. common issue with mileage'd engines

So ur saying I should take the timing cover off and check fro that before ripping the head off? just fyi its also speweing some kind of liquid on the exhaust manifold after warming up causeing it to smoke grey from under the engine bay

the timing cover feeds coolant down the side of the block via the 1/2" heatercore pipe that bolts into the back of it, under the dizzy/ps pump. could be that, who knows. could be the ps pump itself or the rack or who knows without looking
