eh, not bad but what was the EJ valued at? Its sounds like the parts car/questionable engine you got was just a way of someone unloading their worthless junk. In the end, it is a CRX though. I still need to own one but the longer I wait the harder it'll be to find an affordable one

heres why i traded........
1. wanted an 88-91 civic/crx anyways.
2. old civic's brakes were going out as well as the clutch, tranny, kinda fucked up wiring and needed new wheel bearings. body was in shitty shape. that is a pic from a while back of the "good side"
3. crx runs strong as hell.
but yea. im sure the d15 has been swapped. doesnt leak at all. gonna do a comp test soon(not that it matters, doing a z6 swap around spring/summer. put the car on a lift yesterday. underbody is mint. no rust( except that one spot on the body)not even inside the hatch. no chassis damage at all. wheel bearings are fine. but i wouldnt have traded straight up with him. with the 800 bucks parts car and spare z6(complete). its not bad. ill probably only spend $200-300 and the car will look like new. no rust. clean. thats a hell of an investment if you ask me.
guy i got it from has been wanting a clean eg for a while. mine in particular. he bought the crx a week ago from some old nignog that drove it to work everyday. new how to take care of it. im about to go de-rice it though. guy i bought it from put gay *** red cornerlights in. painted a few pieces yellow/black. grr.
but in the crx's defense. the pics were taken from a shitty camera phone. doesnt adjust for low lighting. thats why it looks faded and rusty. the pic of the back/side is how most of the car looks
