lol thanks for the comments guys...as for the rims, i dig em...im from the old school, big rims with a mean *** drop. i wouldnt ever go bigger than 17's but on an integra the look right at home.

as for the suspension, i forgot to mension that i dropped the strut an inch into the fork in the front and have 1.5inch extended top hats in the rear. it rides ------- awesome. i tune cars on a regular basis and this is one of the best riding cars ive been in, in a long time. i tuned an all motor ek 4dr yesterday, that rides on k sports with 15" 96 spec type r wheels, 205/50/15 tires....and my car rides noticably better than the k sports. with the extended shock travel from the top hats, and fork drop...im not worried about blowing struts at all.

and the jdm front end....i CANT STAND regular bug eye integras...but im a fan of 4drs and the civic's were just getting played out....the jdm front makes the teg look a gazzilion times better...i wouldnt own an integra without one....its not a JDM thing, cause im not a jdm nutswinger...its all about what looks good.

got any pics of the strut dropping into the fork? What method did you use? Did you use a pipe to sheath it or just press new notches? I've always gone with custom tophats myself. The rear isn't nearly as important since it doesn't see as much weight and the fronts always need a greater drop. I would still try and allow those front struts more travel. I don't like to push OEM style (90% of aftermarket struts) past an inch of lowering.

I am actually wanting to raise mine up to a respectable height. As long as I have a 2 finger gap between tire and fender then I'm happy. I got used to driving the tahoe since I've taken my car offline for upgrades and I guess the roads suck too much around here. Not to overlook your apparent camber issue. I think it would surely rub if you set it to where it's supposed to be.

The car is bangin regardless, there is a lot more progress to be had. I have a host of ITR parts yet no badges. Good luck with the project.

i just removed the brake line mounts, and ------ the fork so that the strut went down another inch. then banged the body of the strut just a hair for the bolt to go back through. eventually im going to make some more top hats for the fronts, just have to raid the junkyard for some extras.

Far from old school. To me the JDM front looks like *** on a four door.

yea to each his own, but the regular 4 eyed integra front ends look like *** to me. the jdm front is 100x cleaner. plus HID's ftw! and it hides my ginormous intercooler pretty well also.

on another note, this thing is loud as fawk. im going to be putting an exhaust on it sooon. cant decide between a flowmaster, or a vibrant flat back muffler....opinions?

My agx struts also produce a great ride being slammed on my 95 vx with some ebay (but stiff) coilovers. Eventually upgrading to home made extended tops is what it needs to ride even better though. I had Ksports on my old DC teg, and I agree, the agx struts ride smoother riding at a lower height. Once they blow though, I'm planning on trying out some of the new skunk2 struts since they look promising, and from what I heard from some people who have tried them, they ride stiff, so should last long hopefully (and they so cheap compared to konis or new agxs).

Car looks great, though I don't like that style wheel. I think big wheels do look good on big cars like your 4dr teg, but if the wheel had a nice chrome lip to it, it would look so much better.

Great car, and good luck with it.

you must be talking about the pic with the front end off? the car was VERY low then, it was almost 1.5inches lower than in the finished pics....i raised it up because the tires were hitting the fenders...those are very expensive fenders, so i figured i better keep em nice. so yes the camber was way off...its not that way now.

and yes i wish i had better wheels, but i bought those for 80 bucks with 4 brand new tires on em...cant beat that.
