If he were just running his mouth saying ---- like that with no proof it would only justify an *** beating. 
I've taken classes that teach you when you can use deadly force and when you can defend yourself LEGALLY so I tend to make choices that won't get me put in jail so chances are I WOULD NOT use the baseball bat or any other deadly weapon in that situation. Chances are I would be throwing punches which would get me into alot of trouble, but probably nothing more than a night in jail, some fines and anger management classes which would result in me losing my CCW permit and prevent me from LEGALLY buying/owning guns.

Damn! some crazy *** ----. What happen to the good old days where everyone just beat the ---- out of each other with their fist?
Go beat their asses down. or press charges against them for attempted murder. I had charges pressed against me a few years back for beating the ---- out of somebody with my bare fist, no weapons. I almost got nailed for it too, until the kids parents accepted the fact that their kid hit me first. So if you press charge for them beating your brother with a baseball bat. The guy would be fucked!

ok, got some news.
my bro and his friend were out partying and his friend started running his mouth to some guy(they didnt know him). him and his friend went to the store and when they got back homie was waiting with a bat. my bro didnt even have a chance to get all the way out of the car, the guy just started swinging. he got popped 4-5times, and his friend managed to wrestle the guy down and take the bat. they took off down the street and my bro ended up wrecking his car because he wasnt in any condition to be driving.
my cousin isnt sure if the guy was ever picked up by the police or if my bro even called them.
i still havent talked to my mom but i'm sure she has more details

ur brother shouldn't have got out of the car if he seen that ol' boy had a bat(I'm sure he saw it, if the guy was close enought to club him that fast)...ur brother's FRIEND deserves getting his *** beat for gettin' ur bro involved in that $hit 2 begin with...glad ur brother's gonna be alright, tell him the next time some1 is coming at him with a bat to reach under the seat and grab that pistol he isn't old enough to be carryin'....I would
