Dude I'll tell you this....if you would have told me 8 years ago that i would have 2 kids and be a SOLO dad with a deadbeat mom, i would have laughed in your face and accused you of smoking crack.....honestly you already have the right mindset...if your concerned about the financial aspect and the fact you want to be around by itself means alot of it will just fall into place for you. your still in shock...your nuts are currently shriveled to the size of raisins going "oh ---- what did i do" but like putting on some warm underwear fresh out of the cloths drier, they will drop back down and you will regain your confidence and lose that whole "oh ---- i dont know what to do" mentality.....

Dunno if I should say "congrats" or "you're fucked," but good luck nevertheless.

I really hope for your sake she's one you can be with through the life of the child. I don't believe you could really know someone well enough in 10 months, and it would suck to end up paying full time child support for a child you see half the time.

Personally, if it was legal, and she didn't flip the ---- out when you asked (which I'm guessing she would if she really did stop taking the pill), I'd abort ASAP unless I was absolutely sure I'd be able to handle the expenses and that she isn't a psycho that will take your *** to court in the future.

It was pretty good, but it always was which is what got me into this same situation... until the doctor told me I couldn't put anything NEAR her ----- for 10 weeks My playhole is about to spit out a watermelon and I don't even get to enjoy it beforehand.

But I figure it like this. You may as well keep her happy cause you're paying for the kid regardless if you get sucked off a couple mornings out of the week.

Meh, don't worry. You'll tend to want to become a workaholic, and your woman needs to go with that and not get all whiny/emotional. There is a reason why married men with kids make 2.5 times what unmarried men without kids make, your biology will kick in and it'll be cake. I'm going through the same thing right now... not married or anything, but I have a definite family unit and custody of my kid, and money is flowing to my fingers better than anytime before in my life. It's all in the attitude.

The only thing that has me worried is... she told you by phone call? Is she just really immature, or are there special circumstances taking place?
