a nice 750 would be perfect. that was my first bike and it was a lot to handle at first but ended up being the best thing for me because it was a great beginners bike and a great bike for once i got a good bit of experience under my belt

I rode a 2007 R6 and a 2005 GSXR600 today bolth have more power then you probably need.

yea i just got a 87 ninja 750. its my first bike and is comparable to a newer 600. im also signed up to take the msc and am getting my temps soon. i just hope insurance doesnt rape me.

1000 is way to small. You need a kawasaki zx14, -----.

than the time from when he gets on it untill the time he dies will be quicker than the thing can run a quarter mile.

Don't get a 1000 for your first bike in a long time. You'll die.

I had a 636 and it would get up to 180mph and run the 1/4 mile in mid 11 seconds. More than enough bike for someone who doesn't race or ride really fast all the time. I rode it for a year and a half and was not getting tired of it at all.

I'm 5'6" and 160lbs by the way but it would be fast enough for most people.

i just an 01 cbr600f4i and its plenty fast too and it slightly hangs with the liter bikes for like 2 seconds then they are gone lol but for over cruising playing around town a 600 is fine...
