someone needs to donate teggy a chipping hammer.

teg: don't weld over top of your welds until you grind or chip the flux off completely, otherwise it makes for that asstastic birdshit looking stuff.
otherwise i can see you're improving greatly, maybe try slowing down a bit and watching the puddle instead of the seam more, wait for it to whet out before moving ahead. keep on truckin' you'll get 'er in no time at all!

maybe turn the wire speed down just a cunthair too.

That charge pipe looks pretty good teg, I know you won't see this till monday, but I think that after grinding it down, and maybe a little flat black paint, it'll look great, and if it ends up looking like ---- anyways, who cares, it'll work fine.

And damn a two page thread on your welding, you're getting famous, like an HMT celebrity, but without a turbo yet

looks alright, but i think you need to keep it the gun closer to the metal so it makes an even puddle and doesnt pop like hell and put fluxcore everywhere, oh yeah and you might want to invest in some anti splatter and a good mask.

thanks for all the help guys. i finished my charge pipes this weekend, and towards the end, i was really getting the hang of it. at first i was just holding the welder there hoping it would stick, yesterday i finally got the hang of keeping a good puddle and working with it and moving it, it felt good to get the hang of it. my last weld i did with one pass!!
