Default my first rebuild

Im in the engine rebuilding section of my automotive program. Had the worste time pullin the most over complicated head ever and then look to see a blown blown headgasket. We knew it was gone cause the oil was a vanilla milkshake. Cylinder 2 and 3 are shitty. The coolant had worn the walls down and cylinder 2 was wearing away on the edge. Figured id share cause im stoked to be completely rebuilding an engine for the first time.
you can see the wear on the cylinder wall.

unfortunately you gotta drop these engine out the bottom and alldata has us pullin all kinds of ---- off this thing.

head was a painn in the ***. Uses a vtec like system thats way to complicated. Hondas got it locked down. You can see all the tapits fallin out.I think its a resin style intake, not sure if its resin or just plastic.

After just pullin the head and other random ---- i gotta say whoever says a honda is hard to work on is full of ----. Ive worked on several hondas and this ford is way way way more complicated than any other 4banger honda ive worked on to date.

When I first read the topic I thought it said "my first rebound" and then I thought there was going to be pictures of a naked chick inside, now you owe some pictures of your girlfriends best friend in your bed naked.

that piston in the middle in the pic looks fuct on the corners... i bet its out of spec. Fords are some of the shittiest things to work on, hondas generally arent bad at all

fords are notoriously hard to work on. but almost all NEWER cars are.

hondas are soooo easy to work on its really nice.

at least the d series/b series i4 cars are. im sure the v6 cars are gay and the new i4s are prob gay too :0
