My first engine swap in my DA
bought it with 248,xxxkm, no clue about the history or anything.
stock everything, boosted it 7lbs with a very small intercooler, tuned to 12afrs.
started running oddly, bubbles in the coolant, smoke out the breather and dipstick, looks like the pcv stuck closed (had it vented).
friend did a compression test before ripping the motor out..
pre-turbo, 175-175-178-174
post-turbo, 180-180-160-0.
I'd been boosting those three cylinders like I was driving a brand new porsche. squealing through second gear etc...
apparently there was also oil all over the engine, and the underside of the car, but I was never low...
pictures to come.
