well, i usually don't race anybody cause my ---- was always n/a, and honestly, i've never even been stopped next to a boosted car at a light. well, on my lunch break (on my way to the post office to ship some pr0n ) dude in a tsi pulls up to me i saw the front mount coming and was kind of hoping the light would turn green before he got there anyways, he looked like a tool, you know the kind of guy that's like 25 and thinks he's the ---- cause he go's to h.s. parties and gets all the girls so he revs on me, now keep in mind, i have no waste gate at all! if i over rev my ----, i'll be hitting like 20 psi in a second! i don't have any fuel management either, just intercooled, retarded timing, 93 octane, and coolant temp sensor trick. so i basically have to work the gas pedal to keep it at or under 5 psi. i don't rev back i just give it some gas when the light turns green and wind first almost completely out (.63 exhaust barely spools in first), but when i shift to second, i got mad wheel spin and was instantly at 4 psi., so i had to watch it and was light on the gas, the whole time we were neck to neck. i wind second out slowly being careful as not to over boost, then i shift to third and my boost gauge jumps up to 7 psi, so i instantly let off the gas and he was gone i have no doubt in my mind that i would have spanked his *** with a wastegate cause i could have floored it without having to worry about over boosting. ----, we were neck to neck and i was just feathering the gas pedal. my tial 'style' wastegate will be here tomorrow afternoon according to the ups tracking number, and my uberdata chipped ecu is sitting at my house waiting for me when i get off, according to usps tracking number i'll have timeslips tomorrow night

Your a crazy ***** teg, I would never boost that much without fuel management.
Just make sure you get that ecu in before you go and do some ---- like that again.

yeah, no ----, especially on a low mileage b16a2 anyways, it's actually running rich as ---- since i did the coolant temp trick, so i'm not worried about 5 psi at all, but when i saw it jump to 7, i pulled my foot off the gas fast as ----. ---- that ish! but yeah, the ecu should be sitting on my porch when i get home and then i'll be boosting about 8 or so until i get it tuned. i haven't heard any detonation once yet, i drive with the windows down and the radio off so i can listen for it, and my plugs aren't anything scary either, so i'm not too worried about it, but i think i'll quit while i'm ahead

nice! that was an awesome story to read while coming into work. you would have spank his *** for sure. Take it easy for now though, remember you have no fuel management on you car. I bet it was scary as hell when you hit 7psi

yeah, 5 psi is pushing it to me with no fuel management, i mean, most people are scared to run more than 5 psi with an fmu, and at least that's some kind of fuel management, i have nothing except for a few little tricks to make her run rich. but when i saw 7 psi, i freaked out and realized i was being stupid and that ---- will jump up quick! i'm hooking up the uberdata and 450's tonight, so at least then i'll be able to boost about 10 psi, but i still won't be able to romp it until tomorrow when the wastegate gets here. i'm bringing some tools to work and put it in on my lunch break
