Best thing I found for my driveway was to have a bunch of shale rock hauled in. Here it is around $60 a load. From what I can tell your driveway is about as big as mine so it would probably cost like $600. Around here anyways.
I was going to go with just gravel but that ---- is really expensive, takes alot more and in a couple years time it basically just gets pushed into the ground and you have the same mess all over.
If you go with something like shale just make sure the dozer driver goes over it alot to flatten it out so it isn't so bumpy.
Maybe an idea to look into **shrugs**

Your right that was harsh and I re-read your post you didnt say anthing about paving the whole thing....just that the town should use it.

I'v had too many ignorant ppl tell me to pave it, sorry


As for the other suggestions I appreciate it. My father and I will probably do some gravel or a homemade blacktop idea lol.
