Haha, I have used that and it doesn't hold up to manifold heat. Same thing, flakes off all over everything.

Headers suck to paint. about hte only thing you can do is polish it out or leave it as is. looks good tho.

I used DUPONT 800 degree celcius paint..it held up.
My neighbour sprayed MOTIP 600 degree celcius paint and it's holding up it was a kinda greyisch metalic paint.
I think the thing is to make sure your manifold is clean before painting...or sand it a bit

i've ben sanding it
that's how i got it to loook like that with sandpaper,stainless steel and brass detail brushes and then some mothers polish here and there. im goin g to get somemore opions before i decide wether to paint it or not. It'll be at least another month before the install begins

Well its gonna rust pretty fast. I have had good luck with the cheap gas gril paint on stock manifolds.. It might not hold up on a turbo manifold though. Painting it won't really increase the life of it. Just make it look nicer for longer.

it mightnot look as good if your goin for show thou..
