Your manny looks great, and will work great too.

The on the first manny i made, i used exhaust paint (is good till 650 degrees centigrade), but that came off the first drive. (i kind of expected that to happen).
Then i just threw on some oil which burned in, surprisingly the manny does not seem to rust. (have it on the car for about 6 months now)

Recently made an other manifold, still have to find out with what to protect it. (want a decent protection for this one)

So if you guys know any good paint/ coating, please, enlighten me.

Pieter

I don't suggest painting the manifold. I tried several different kinds of high-temp and nothing stayed on. It all ended up flaking off and geting all over the entire engine bay. Maybe I just wasn't using the right stuff.

grill paint will burn off after a few hours of use, i had a pair of headers that were ceramic coated and tey looked great for as long as i had them, i dont know if you can get stuff ceramic coated or not but it might be worth looking in to.....what about powdercoating does any one know how that holds up to heat?

I think ceramic coating is expensive. It would be worth it though. I have had several headers that were ceramic coated and they lasted forever.
