Basically I agreed to sell my 91 civic & spare parts to a local kid, he was giving me a 94 civic sedan, $800, and the K-sport coilovers off my Civic back (leaving them on to trailer the car home ONLY). He came to pick up my car (with a trailer) and said that he couldn't get the $$ because it was Sunday. I let him take my car anyway, and we agreed that he would get me the 94, $$, and coilovers by Friday. That was 4 weeks ago. He kept giving me BS excuses, saying he'd give me a call later, tomorrow, whatever. So I've been collecting info on him. I got he location of the shop where he took the car, cell phone, email, where he works (though the last time I talked to him he told me he was laid-off and the 94 got impounded).

Last night I filed a police report and a small claims suit, but I need to find his house (lives with his parents) so I can have the sheriff serve the small claims papers. I think I know where it is so basically I just have to drive by to get the address. Oh, and the 91 is still in my name, but the sheriff wouldn't let me file it as stolen, what kinda bullshit is that!!


I hate ---- heads, that is the last time I try to be a nice guy.

Anyone else been in a similar situation, how can I send this d-bag to prison?

I can see if you got the 94 and no cash or coils but you are in the US not northern Canada you can't trust people. I hope you lock your house.

get the triple a repo service tell him you locked your keys in the car and it died in front of his house. you still have the title. its still your car, go pick it up

it's in his buddies shop, already being stripped. Got his address though.

He is a friend of a friend. He also bought my turbo kit less than 2 months ago for $1g cash the day he looked at it.
