Just felt like complaining, thinking out loud...
I got my car boosted a year ago... beat on it daily, any of my friends will vouch for the obscenities committed. Had a few track days, but there were always varied issues and other BS. Have not really done any maintenance besides changing the oil every 3-5k and changed plugs once. In that year I have taken ~8 trips that were 1000miles or more, including one trip from NY to NC to PA to NY....
So after putting ~32k miles on a nearly 200k integra it is beginning to die. It burns anywhere from no oil one week to a quart the next... leaks profusely at the VC and HG... coolant is burned away pretty steadily @ 3-4 water bottles per tank of gas... overheats when sitting during drives in weather over 70*F, backfires madly at part throttle after boost, makes explosions during shifting.... stinks of burning everything. Axles click when turning right, motor mount bolts keep backing themselves out and I have to righten weekly, clunking at take off and shifts. Exhaust manifold cracked too many times to count, the exhaust mani holes in the head are stripped out so it is held on by 4-5 bolts... turbo is held onto mani by 3 bolts and DP is welded on but cracking. The car has also been in three mild accidents this winter, one vehicle ownage. It has also blown headgaskets 2x. Haha, truly gangster whip.
Now I am just curious to see how long this car is going to last. I mean, I have no idea why it has not died yet, it barely has any power below 4k, the car pretty much requires turbo power to propel itself forward.

haha i laughed out loud on that last sentence talking about the turbo. well what can i say, just accept that its lasted you this long and burn it. i would say get another motor, but it sounds like the car itself is a mess.

Sounds like all it needs is some new CV joints, a new motor and an owner with some loctite and a torque wrench.

Either give up, or save it before it really is too late. Either way, no chance of parting it out now, no one wants your beat to hell ----. Oh, apart from honda-tech.

venture to detroit, take the crx, and venture home. swap your boltons to a fresh gasketed/bearing'd ls, get swap mounts, and call it a day.

Haha, I'm not crying, I find it funny. The car is a deathtrap held together by JB weld and homeboy depot madness. I drove it into the ground and expected nothing less... I'm just looking for a cheap DD to replace it with so I can start parting it out... but first, I await it's death. There's an LS I'm picking up on the 8th for 120$ that may or may not have head issues, but all I really need is the block... but I'd rather have a civic or rex to drop that into and then diddle this car to death like a man with the wastegate in the trunk.

I'd tell you to use a better headgasket, but the 3 blown headgaskets have probably saved you piston replacements.

these cars are getting old. Time to start moving into the newer body styles unless you want to do the fix everything style
