yeah this really sucks. as far as glass from junkyards, most of the glass should be obtainable except for prob the two rear side windows and the rear window. This past summer I had to replace my rear window and i scoured every junkyard remotely close to me for a month and turned up nothing. A local collision shop was able to order one from a junkyard for $250 and that was what it cost the shop-- no mark up. otherwise it was 5-700 ordered new. So i dunno. I think if the car ever sees the road again (legally) it won't be at least until the summer, but probably not even then with the rest of the ---- thats going on in my life. If I ever catch the ******* I will run their faces over with my lawn mower.

I had that happen to my car though, I came out to sugar in the gas tank AND the motor, keyed everywhere. No broken windows though

I live in NYC and Ive had MANY problems with vandals breaking my windows, writing graffitti on my house, stealing my car audio, and destroying my property.
Some people still dont understand why Im so paranoid.

anyway, further update: the homeowner's insurance doesn't cover damage to even their own cars, much less mine. On a positive note, just got done with my first job to and from work. I think its about 3.5 miles or so judging on the time it took me, and it feels pretty good. at least I like running eh? kind of ironic that I work at autozone but I have to run to work :1
