Default MPFI vs DPFI

Ok guys
I need some questions answered.
MPFI = Multi Point Fuel injection
DPFI = Dual Point Fuel Injection.

Now my questions are.
My 1.5 LSI civic I belive is a DPFI,
and people say that you will notice a better power
incrase with a MPFI.

How will this effect fuel economy .. drivebilty of the car .. what imporvments will i notice ?

Now could I use the MPFI off a 92/93 civic Vetc SOHC ?
for my 1.5 lsi, I belive both engines are D series.

Any other information will be helpful

you could use that, but with more work. if your car is a 88-91 use a 88-91 MPFI system.

also make sure u get the intake and ecu from the same year. I just bought a 91 Si intake manifold w/ everything and noticed slight differences then my 88 Si. I'm pretty sure it will still work though.

Damn you guy's read my mind! I was wondering the same thing about this swap. My 91 civic hatch id DPFI and it just feels weak. I had thought about switching over to MPFI but wasn't sure what was involved.

You will have a little worse fuel mileage. But noticable hp gains.

If you guys don't know...ibby has a EG hatch with a DPFI engine just like me....so the DPFI ---> MPFI swap on the itnernet isn't entirely accurate for us guys. Our cars have OBD0 ECU connectors and OBD1 connectors in the engine bay.
