I've been on dirtbikes for a long time and liter bikes still scare the **** out of me. Buddy has an '07 R1 he got for waaaaaaaay below msrp, (he works at a Yamaha outboard retailer) and that is the fastest thing I've ever ridden. I'm partial to the '03 GSX-R 600, and you can sometimes find an '03 for that price. Aprilias are garbage. They look amazing, yea, but repairs are expensive and reoccuring. My friend had the newest one they released, he said that snap steer was something you had to live with, he sold it now for the 999R...bastard

Honestly the blast is a chick bike. This girl at my highschool rides one, it is comparably slow to my teacher's soft tail. It's like a 400cc v-twin isn't it? All I know is that it took like a good deal of clutch manipulation to get it to wheelie in second.
