Motorcycle riding muthaz. I need help.
I think I've made this post before, but I'm not fucken around this time. I'm looking to buy a 50ish cc motorcycle for fucken around with the kid. There's plenty of open space around here and I wanna get a little bike to go exploring with the kid on. Here's what Craigslist has to offer right now:
125cc Demon bbr pit bike bike 12 hp!!! almost new !!! - $950
1997 ds 80 suzuki dirt bike - $700
1996 Honda XR100 dirtbike - $850
YAMAHA PW50 - $700
The last 3 I don't have pictures of yet, but my main problem is I don't know ---- about these motorcycles, which ones are better than others for the prices listed. I searched for PW50 and found that it's a shaft drive? which claims it's more reliable, but it doesn't sound very traditional. Ok, enough rambling. Which one should I get?

I think the demon 125cc would be a good exploring trail bike. I think honda sold the desighn/plans for the z50 and ct70 trail bikes engines and other companies put the 125cc cylinder and head kit on it. That type motor is very reliable and has good torque even with 50-70cc for . I have seen these bikes every were still running since the 70s.
If your looking for perfomance i would go with a suzuki 80 if its 2-stroke,
I dont like the xr100s but they are bigger bikes.

I rode a freinds (I think it was a blue and white 80?) with my son and he fit snug in front of me. The problem with researching this ---- is that they all have little codes and ---- after the name. It's not like Honda 50cc is really going to nail it down, so I'm having a hard time trying to get an idea of what all my options are.

that little 125cc bike is cool, but might be to much for your boy if he's just learning..
the xr100 is probably to tall for him, but thats a good price if the thing is in decent shape.
some dude brought his little girl into the shop today and got her a kdx 100, she was so excited
she couldn't stand it.. I'd get the 125cc pit bike for yourself, just to ---- around on, and maybe
the jr50 for the boy .. then once he's experienced enough, he'll have a badass little pit bike to ride.

He's 3, and the plan is to put him in front of me between my legs and do some exploring. I rode with him on an 80 before and it was a pretty good ride comfort wise. After a couple exploring adventures, I will more than likely start venturing out on my own.
I'm not a motorcycle person. I'm one of those people who gets comfortable with things for about 15 minutes and then it's time to push it to the limits, so anything that could kill me (normal sized bike) isn't really a good idea.

geta xr or yamaha ttr, very realiable and very easy to get parts for if you happen to need them, even though the demon bike looks sick though, have you got him a bike yet stealth? if so what kind?

Neither of us have a bike. I'm just looking for something fun to ---- with on some paths and ----. Last night I kinda got discouraged while looking at motorcycles and started looking at a yerf dog on ebay that's local. That would be fun too, but I'm not sure I have the room to store that thing when it's not in use.
