I'm looking for a fun side project to do. I don't want to spend a ton of money or have it take up a ton of space. I was thinking about making a 600 or 1000cc go kart. (see gixxerkart on youtube). It looks like it would be a blast to ride and not toooo hard to make. Any thoughts?

a cheaper method is to find a 250 two stroke dirtbike engine and slap one on...finding a 600cc street bike engine will be alil more tough...

I don't think finding one would be too tricky. If I pick up a wrecked bike then I can take the other pieces off it and make some money back. They're all over ebay too.


Does anyone know a link where you can find the auctions from insurance companies that total out bikes?
