I fucked up when i put this engine together and put prolong in it before the rings were fully broken in. the results were 135psi in each cylinder instead of ~165-170ish which it should be.

the car just didnt have the zip it once did before i blew it the first time. but i think the lower compression really helped keep it together those couple times i was like ---- this thing is fast!! then look at the gauge and it says 16 pounds

so i went and bought some motor flush crap and used it. pretty easy just put it in let it idle for 5 or so mins and then drain it and change the oil & filter.

the can says to take the pan off and clean it but im sure that is if you want all the gunk out but what i was really wanting is to wash down the cylinders.

i havent comp tested it yet, i drove it around town a couple times, and lettin it cool a little so i dont burn myself but i'll post the results if it helped at all

well after only about 15 mins of driving it didnt change the compression at all.

maybe this is just an excuse to run more boost even though the lower compression is because of blowby :crook:

im sick of this car and motor anyways! time to buy that iroc and boost it
