Just wondering who will admit to the most embarrassing loss to the most unexpected car...
Mine was about 5 yrs ago, where i live the honda phenom had not even began yet....i was rollin in a 86 5.0 gt,
373,s king cobra clutch, long tubes, 2 chambers,pulleys, frame connected...teh car worked well and went 13.90's on
radials, i got rolled up on by a 90-91 hatch, baby blue, and rusted to ----, i mean a complete pail, big fart
can on teh back, the kid driving looked about 12. He starts reving on me, i kinda chuckle, light goes green,
i leave on him and through teh intersection im actually thinking of lifting cause this is just silly, when
woosh, teh little ***** goes screaming by, by the time i got to third gear he was 5 lenghts on me and i
looked like a retard....two weeks later the same p.o.s ruted out hulk is at the track....... 12.90's ...on fukin radials....
gsr swap and H.M.T.....I got owned by a 17 yr old kid with brutal acne that drove a rusted hatch
his mom gave him....the moral of the story is I suck...

haha nice one. when i have a naive 18 year old, i drove a 91 3000GT SL and thought it was the ---- and really didnt know much about cars. well i saw a neon and decided to be an -------, we took off, then all i saw was tail lights...we pull over down the road after, ------ srt-4, and at that time i think it was the 1st year of their release...

When I had my old 97 Ex coupe, riding with friends and my girl, some dude in a V6 caravan wanted to mess around. I had intake exhaust and altezzas, so of course I could beat him. Well no, my car was always slow as hell, and I had 5 people in the car. It was funny later on.

See now thats' extra funny, my wife has one.... a carravan and at the shop i manage we had a sales person who had a 4dr 98ish civic, we never saw the car here cause he said it was in his buddy's shop getting a b18, with b16 head, big cams, t.b and all kinda of crap, no one belived him, so i had the van on a fri and on the way home from work i ran into him on a backroad near my house, he was driving his rocket...spoon stickers and ---- all over, long story longer, i ran up on him, pulled up beside him, and promptly pulled away from him till about 130kph, Mon at work he never showed, hasnt been back since....

My parents have a 96 V6 grand caravan conversion van, 3.8l v6, it's pretty quick for a van so I've had my revenge or fun with it agains other civics also. It's fun to drive it "fast and inmature" people give you that look, like you're crazy that's a damn mini van. Cutting traffic with it is fun.

I can't believe that kid never showed back to work, embarrasing, yes, but work is work. Awesome

We were at the track, and I ran way too rich and the car all but shut off halfway down the track. The kid, of course, had to brag to all his friends that he "beat a turbo prelude". He told everyone, everywhere he went. Pissed me off so bad.

my 98 prelude i thought was so fast cuz it had body kit intake and exhaust lol...and madd tyte jdm vtak. but anyways a talon pulls up next to me as i'm cruisin at like 40...so i down shift and floor it and he just pulls like i slammed on the brakes...later i find out its a tsi with alot of upgrades lol

Another one I just remember that I tried to forget.

This is the first night I go racing in the WRX after the upgrades. I meet with a few friends, and they tell me they have a turbo MR2 that wants to run. They say the car runs high 13's. I'm like, well I ran high 13's before the upgrades so bring it.

Well the car gets there, is black and beautiful, the door opens, and a beautiful 21 year old girls steps out. I'm like ----, she's hot, and is the driver of the car. This is kinda cool, a girl with a fast car that likes racing.
But I don't care I already said yes so lets go.

When we launched I bogged the hell out of my launch and she is in front of me, not good I'm supposed to have the AWD advantage, I had to wait for the damn turbo to spool up again. Second gear and pulling closer, third gear I'm at her front fender, we are already doing about 90, 4th gear she's in front by a bumper when I shift, Under normal track, 1/4 mile conditions, we are done there, and she wins by a bumper, but she kept going, so I keep going, I pass her by half a car and we are now doing 130, that's when another car is coming the other way, on her side, so I hit the brakes so she can get in front of me safely.

Top speed acceleration I won, but 1/4 mile time, she did.

Well all the people watching were talking crap, and I still hear about it sometimes. :P
