From my experience vdub **** as we call them are more about looks than anything. Not sure why he would want an intake mani with such long runners and no plenum on a car that makes good torque but suffers to rev.

i'm helping a local 17 year old kid "tOOn" his gt28'd passat, which he fabbed up and put together himself... everyonce in a great while there is some brand/sensor specific info on there, and i came upon that while searching. i fap to the eternal failure that is the 1.8t, not the vortex.

i hate VW kids, most of them are complete retards. ive noticed they are more interested in doing things to be "unique" then anything else. i remember a few years ago someone posted a link to some queer who painted his calipers burberry or whatever the ---- one of those ****** designer things basically he painted his calipers with a plaid pattern. i later found out he was local to me.

also please explain to me how the 1.8t is fail? throw rods in it and the bottom end is good for 500+hp? and thats fail? versus all the bullshit that has to be completely built here to make any amount of power? for more then a week. on a mild tune a 1.8t can make around 200whp and over 240wtq....yup that must be a shitty motor.
