Default Mods to an IS300

Well my girlfriend was lookin for a new car, so I convinced her into an is300 because its a nice reliable car and i'll probably be driving it a good amoutn so I didnt want something to crappy or slow. It is a decent car but it needs to be quicker. Its also an auto, what mods can i do to it to make it faster besides a turbo kit. I gotta keep this bitch reliable. I was thinking an intake and headers, but i dont know anything past that, or if it'll throw a code or anything.

Dont touch a cold air intake. Your will not be able to tell a difference in power you might be making from a cai to a ram air intake and it could save your motor from hydrolocking. Believe me, my friend hydrolocked a single cam zc with his beloved cold air intake. now he runs a ram air and cant feel a difference at all.

It never rains bad enough here to hydrolock a car. Unless youre trying to find puddles you wont come across them.

stock air box ftw! I rock a HKS filter in a stock airbox

I'm thinking about buying an IS300 myself, but I want a 5spd wagon. So it might be time to sell the del sol, EK, and the rest of my honda stuff.

I drive my IS300 like an old lady. Burns too much gas.
