In my haste to reinstall my 450's I broke off the plastic tip that appears to aid in forming the spray pattern.

I can get some other ones through a local guy, but till then, I dont think its that much of a biggie. Anyone on here have first-hand exp with injectors and such.

Hmmmm....It's probably going to rob some power, but you should be fine for now.

Just to let you guys know.

I talked to guy tonight who has extensive experience with these injectors. The black cap does not effect the spray pattern at all, and is only there to help protect the pintle. If you've got some 450's and the plastic covers are cracked, no biggie.

I say just get them replaced, should only be a buck or two. ($1.25 at RC Engineering) Cause you never know when you might accidentally let the pintle meet the ground in a freefall.

good point, you already dropped/broke it once. there there for that reason, better hope you break a diff injector pintle next time
