So I took the Taurus to the track Friday Night and busted a 15.50 at 91.something. I think I'm gonna leave that car alone and focus on getting the Corolla finished. Dave Lee has a video in the works to explain the rest of the night's cool happenings, but he is working on a new overflow bottle setup so it might take a while...

Yep, and I keep running into more delays. I have to build a new shop, but that never stopped me before. I built my first setup out in the driveway. I need to buy all kinds of lumber and ----, but there ain't no stoppin' the turbo Corolla from hitting the track this year. I am going to set up a study of how much top end work I need to do to the car. With big port 4age cams in the big port head, how many rpm's can a toyota shim over bucket setup take w/o failure? I'm setting up a test jig to provide oil pressure and ---- and then I'm gonna spin the cams up to 5000 rpm for a a while to see if it floats too bad or tosses out shims like tiddlywinks. The stock cams for the big port are bigger than 4agze cams I have, but not very big still. I think with their low lift it should be ok. I have amassed some spare heads. I think TRD valve springs are a must even before my 1st attempt, though. I'm finishing the prep work on an otherwise awesome HKS System III manifold this week, coating next week. I have the same Setup that's on eBay right now

except mine's gonna be all pimped out, forged everything, Microtech injection, and I will at least beat Jay's old best of 13.2 because that's what I set out to do. A 12.99, that's gonna be tough. Tough as iron.
