military topic guys, Kind of long but need your input
Well, as some of you may know, I signed up for the Air Force and I'm leaving on October 19 (not much time left for me.) My job is sucking because they're cutting my hours and the pay is shitty anyway and I have credit card bills up my *** that I wanna try to take care of before I leave. But I have no motivation to go look for a second job because I'm leaving in a month anyway.
Now my real issue is I'm having second thoughts about being in the military because I'm not ready to be away from all my friends and loved ones for that long and I know the pay is gonna be shitty (I could probably find a better paying job if I stay). And for the past 2 years since highschool I've just been working and not going to college, so I'm not accomplishing anything. I joined the military for that reason. I get free schooling because my dad is a disabled veteran but I never took advantage of it. I just really didn't feel like going to school. But now I see my friends going to school and they telll me how cool it is cuz there's girls and it's easy and what not.
So now I'm thinking of just staying here and going to school. I'll have to sit on my *** for another few months having to wait for the next semester, but atleast I can work 2 jobs until then. And I hear from people that have been in the air force that it's really great, a lot better than the other branches of military. I just wanted the opinions of the HMT family, what do you guys think I should do?

I honestly would not want to go into the military. It's just not right for me (And they rejected me anyways lol).

If you're going to school because of the girls, thats stupid. And no, its not easy. I'm still in High School but I've seen the ---- you have to do in college. It isn't a cakewalk.
Honestly, if you're going to the military for the education assistance, why don't you just use your dads governmental help?

School's only hard depending on your major. If you do your work you'll survive. I'm in college right now and I'll tell you that you need to enjoy life while you can. Come to college, get an education and ---- mad bitches.

I say just stay. You obviously dont want to leave and you'll just be unhappy. Stay with your family and friends and HMT and just get two jobs. As far as school you dont have to go to college if you dont want or start up right away. If you have finance problems take care of them first then start school when your ready
