Default metal in engine = bad, lots of pictures.

here is my new car, 1991 integra ls, 1.8l DOHC b18a1.
dirt that looks like its on car is acually my scanner before i cleaned it.

all needed to do was take the head & intake manifold off.

as you can see in this picture, the pistons look ok.
you can't see the little doinks in them, there is only a couple and they're small

i was still angry because they have little doinks in them from the peice of aluminum that got in there.

here is the head, it needs a valve grind, hopefully NOT any new valves cause they're so damn expensive. you really can't see them but it has some doinks in that are a little smaller than a .177 caliber bb.

and here is a bunch of other misc bullshit cause there wasn't any point of taking a roll of film half full to get developed.

my make shift bench

intake manifold i cleaned pretty good.

my toolbox, crafstman stuff. (i broke two 14mm sockets trying to get the head bolts off, one 1/2 drive and one 3/8 drive)

my worthless dog trying to help

pushrod power.

thats just an old door sitting across the body, the hood in one the roof of the car :P

ur engine looks nice and clean...mine was all black soot on the pistons and valves...i meen lots...it took forever to scrap it off without scratching the ----...i think it was due to 108k hard driven miles on it before i got it...but i got new pistons rings now so hopefully when its all back together and in my crx it wont have any problems...soon to find out though
