just grill it up. food related bacteria rarely survive over 140 degrees. like complex said, grill em around 150 and you should be fine. and, as stated above, the smell will give it away. for only a day i dont think it'd go bad vacuum sealed. maybe if you left them out on a plate or something

i used to do short order for almost a year, and ------ 2 week old pastrami was the WORST thing to find. ugh, talk about bad smell, i don't know how many times (maybe a dozen, only served it twice being we were out of it) i cooked iffy meats for sandwiches that had all kinds of weird smells and juices. the dressings and such usually took care of it.

i hate that smell

were they left in a cold environment is the question? if so it should be fine. also were they completely frozen? itll take at least 6 hours to start getting soft and another 2 to get completely thawed. but as long as it was left in a cold environment of 30 degrees or lower its fine.(i work at a grocery, worked in the meat department a few times, now night stock)

yes and no, our deli isnt like that. only the meat department. produce, meat, deli, and bakery all have freezers, and produce, meat, and deli have coolers.

It sat out on my counter for the time period, it was like 8 or 9 hours. I cooked them in the foreman. Smelled normal, haven't ate yet...
