Re: Marine Recall
Well, I don't work at a single plant for one, I work at tons of plants all over the world. I'd never want to work at one specific plant, and be one of those lazy *** union workers. I work for Westinghouse, building new refueling machines for new plants, or old plants that want to upgrade to some better equipment, so we travel al over the world. And I was in the military, so I'm all about traveling. But in the civilian world, travel = money! And getting paid extra, to travel to Spain or England, well I'm all about that.
And if the ones that got out and are working in this field as a civilian are idiots, then I would walk around proudly with that shitbag/idiot title. The nuclear field is brutal if you don't have what it takes to make it in it. But if you do, the pay is ------- unbelievable. I made more in this job in 3 months then I made in the military in 8 months. And I don't have to get my haircut every week, or live in some shitty barracks, or listen to ******* bitch at me beacuse they are a rank above me. If that makes me a shitbag, then so be it, because I'll take this life over the military life anyday. I don't regret going in the military, because it made it possible for me to have this job, and I'm thankful for that. But I would never go back in now, I'm too happy with this. The marines is a closed chapter in my book, and I'm doing bigger/better things now.
