Default Maaco paint job

As you know my car got vandalized a few weeks ago. So now I have to paint my car again and I was thinking of taking it to a place called Maaco. Do any of you know of this place or have gotten you car painted by them.

Stories or comments?

decent paint job. you get what you pay for. it really depends on who does your painting at macco.

kinda like a mechanic. if the mechanic doesnt know what they are doing your car wont run right.
if the body man doesnt know what they are doing, you paint is gonna be messed up. you will get what you pay for...

if you want a good street looking car, go macco, for show, dont go macco

My brother had his 86 Mustang painted at macco it turned out pretty good but liek that said up there you get what you paid for. I said do it yourself with some spray paint primer, and clear coat and what not. Then if its fucked up you can only hit yourself in the face.

Ive done a couple cars a la rattle can, and as long as you take the time to prep correctly, and dont skimp on the quality of paint, pretty decent results are possible.

Plus if you catch runs, you can take care of it quickly and easily, versus Maaco.

sounds like they ripped you. Primer too smooth? Don't they usually just paint over your exsisting paint?

But none the less, the car is looking real good. Even my asian *** can appreciate that, good job!
