Default ls/vtec alternatives?

http://www.hstuners.com/news/wmview.php?ArtID=33

is there any truth to this? i asked AbaZ about the B16A1 Cylinders bored and sleeved to 86 mm Forged rods and pistons, 12.5:1 cr B17A crank option, and he asked me what i was smoking. so im wondering if anyof those alternatives are doable.

Boreing the stock sleeves 86mm is smoking some serious crack. Maybe if the block was resleeved..

B17 crank? jesus... good luck finding that, better off hunting down a straight B18c
