lowering compression on motor-- will stock ecu/injectors still run?
Hey
I want to get a set of rods/pistons. I am just wondering that if i have to keep stock compression or not--because when i have to get emissions done (obd2) i have to return everything to stock so i'm wondering if i get pistons that will lower the compression the stock settings / ecu will not work? or will they?
Or should i just get pistons that will keep my compression stock? (i have a turbo d16y8 btw)
Anyone have any experience on this topic? Thanks

personally, i'd rather keep it in the 9's. its kinda an "all around" good comp. ratio to go with being you dont loose low end power and you can definatly build it to make lots of power!! imo 8's is just too low
