Way to go Chris, let me know if we can help you with anything. Definately a step in the right direction man, and honesty and friendliness go along way. Im sure this venture which in know will eventually be a nice performance shop will turn out well.

It's interesting the way it works...I learned as I went along through the process.
The land, building, pumps, tanks, lifts, compressor are all owned by Getty, they are also responsible for maintenance and upkeep of these things which is nice as it wont come out of my pocket.

Where you make all of the profit is in sales for items in the mini-mart area and of course in the garage bays.
It's a pretty neat business model...and because most everything is setup, you just have to follow the plan and manage the people well.
any how.. you need to set up a get-r done display.. those are a big deal here in the south.. jersey just doesnt know about it yet heh

No gas station have a raquet on credit cards...no fees on Gas Sales up to $125. Repair work is like 4% though 
Weir, this is a huge step...I'm excited and freakin out all at the same time...LOL
Cray, I will be the certified mechanic (well, sorta)...but I have another guy working with me and by the beauty of the internet, we have a nice little program on the computer that should help us out for those non-foreign autos

And you cant buy beer in a gas station in Jersey...only in a liquor store.
And I believe the reason they make every station full service is to create more jobs...but again, look who has all those jobs and guess how many of them arent even supposed to be in this county

chris im glad you're out in the air about this. I really hope everything goes well for you. You seem to have it all figured out so this should be a good tyhing for you. We def need to have a little get together over there soon enough once my crx and jordan's car is running!
