Yeah the only gun I have is a 30-06 Springfield. I only need one bullet and I gurantee if there are more than one they'll cut out quick when their buddy's head is half gone.

Na I'll hang on to it. I want to pick up a hand gun to toy with and protection. Damn bullets for this gun are too expensive to joy shoot.

I understand that. I want a new Springfield XDm's but they're expensive still. That new .40 they offer is badass though.

Yeah, I'd really like one too. Looks like a nice improvement over the original XD.

Until then, I'll be happy with the XD 45 compact service model.

i just got back from boating on the river, we hit a chunk of ice and all my guns fell overboard and sunk to the bottom. ------ sucks.

Hey I'm all for owning guns... for hunting, target shooting or collecting blah blah blah. But come on do you really need an assault rifle that shoots a gazillion rounds a second and really did the second amendment have that in mind when it was drafted? Additionally, exactly how relevent is the 2nd amendment for today's purposes anyways. I can understand its usefulness 300 hundred years ago where there was no democratic right to vote, a foreign army enforced the will of an overseas tyranical soveriegn to extort and people lived off of the land but today if you don't like your govenrment you can collectively use the ballot box as your voice. So where is the relevance of the 2nd amendment today... it has none other than to allow people to own weapons that are only designed for one purpose and that is to kill people. There is a reason that the United States has the highest gun related homicide rate in the world and that is because there are far too many guns in the hands of far too many people, many of whom souldn't have them in the first place.

I've grown up around guns all my life. I respect and value them but assault rifles and hand guns serve no useful pupose other than to hurt or kill people. In this situation I believe the health and safety issues surrounding the misuse of assault rifles and hand guns outweigh an individuals right to own one... not only from a safety prespective but also from an economical perspective. For example the law enforcment cost to license, monitor and protect society from the misuse of assaut rifles and hand guns. Additionally what about the health care costs and physical/emotionall harm caused to innocent victims and thier families who are wounded or killed each year because some nutjob with an ak 47 who lawfully owns it decides one day to go into a school/post office "insert some other public place here" and kill as many people as possible because he ate the wrong batch of fruit loops that morning that set him off. I'm sure thats was what America's fore father's had in mind when drafting the amendment.
