Default live in ct? please read this!

Ok! in about 11 days i turn 18, and on that same weekend i plan on buying a white 91' crx si for about 2g's. Has about 150k miles on it. I havent seen it yet, but i plan on taking a look at it on thursday (i take some photos and show u guys) now if the body condition is as good like he says it is and im also having my friend who knows a little about engine take a look at it. And of crouse a test drive make sure everything is well. Now heres the thing, this is gonna be my first car and i dont really know much about honda motors, let alone any motor. I was planing in about 6 months to drop in a zc engine and then in about anther 5-6 months have stage 2 turbo kit. DOing about 5psi on street and up to mabey 15 psi at the track. And of course other things along the way. but keep it a sleeper. Know heres where i get in trouble i dont know anything about engines. Now i know this is a long shot, but i was wondering if anyone who live in hartford, CR or anywhere in hartford would be willing to hang out with me kinda of a big brother kind of thing to help me with this car thing ( no not buying anything) but helping me learn how to do things what to look for, how to avoid things. Because unlike most of you i never had my father say eddie come here and give me a hand so i lack many things that a teenager should have leanred from his dad.

ANyway i would like to thank who ever took the time to read this.

THANK YOU

Now this is some cool ----. A guy pops on here asking for some help and guidance and already two people have come forward and welcomed him. Glad to see there are still some decent people in the world today.

Cool kid = attitude and willingness to learn. That's all you have to have, and you're in as far as I'm concerned.

Don't waste time with the ZC, IMO. Unless you're getting it for cheap + rebuilding, or it is really clean your money is better spent on a D16 of some nature. I've seen plenty of stock D16A6 as fast as the ZC, it's nothing special. Just attend to some homebrew turbo lovin and you'll be just fine.

Congrats in advance.
If the CRX you're buying has a D16A6 in it, I wouldn't swap a ZC in if you were going to turbo anyways.
The D16A6 is just as strong as the ZC, the only difference is that the ZC starts with a slight power advantage and has DOHC, but IMO there isn't any difference between a turboed A6 and Turboed ZC...the only difference would be good tuning.
Good luck kid
